February 2010

It seems to be very busy here at the Schultz residence. Kristina is back to work (tear, tear, sniff, sniff) and 1st semester just came to a close and 2nd semester is now in full swing, which always feels like a busy time for me. But the babies sure don't know any difference!!! They are doing well, enjoying their time together. We also had a wonderful visit with Grandpa Schultz who came down from Falconer about a week ago. Here are some pics of his visit and a few more of the kids. Enjoy!

Kai giving his sister a hug
"Who loves his sister?" "I do!"
Kai loves to just lay next to Leila and spend some brother-sister time
Don't turn us in to Child Youth Services, but Kai got a bit muddy one day playing in the puddles outside. He loves to run through the puddles with his puddle-boots on, and he hit one that was a bit deeper than the others, and... down he went, face first! As you can see, he was really upset!
And his clothes took a beating too!
The baby blues still look piercing though, don't they?
Coloring at his desk
The three muskateers
"You're so funny, Daddy!"
Becoming a big boy, isn't he?
Hanging out with his puddle boots on. "You ready to go outside, yet, Dad? I heard we have some killer puddles out there today."
"Hey big brother, what you got there, I'm sick of this formula stuff!"

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone. Hope the holidays were safe and merry for all. Kai and Leila have been enjoying their time together as you can see. He has been great with his little sister so far, loves to sit with her and is always talking to her and wanting to kiss her. Enjoy the pics, hope everyone is doing well.
Still cute, even upside down
Casey takes a pretty good picture without thumbs. Thanks casey
Caught a smile here...
...and half of one here.
Kai reading his encyclopedia that Aunt Adrienne got him (with a little spaghetti left over on his face!)
Hanging out together. Kai asks us frequently to put her on his lap, its so cute. He points to her, then sits down and points to his lap.
Here's little cutie-pants throwing a tantrum. Everyone sees him looking so cute and perfect I figured it was only fair to see ALL the sides of Kai!
Heartbreaker
Helping mommy make salad for dinner
Little sleeper
Liz and Erin stopped over for a visit over the holidays. Liz also gave Leila the comfy-cozey blanket she is sleeping on in the above picture. Kristina and I bring it to bed with us after Leila falls asleep
His shirt reads, "What happens at MiMi's house, stays at MiMi's house." I wonder who gave him that!
Kai's first snowman, and daddy's first too, now that I think about it.

Brother/Sister comparison

So do they look alike? Kai is a bit older in the pic, I think 2 months whereas she is only one month.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

I have been trying to caption my last blog post for about a week now, but every time I try, something seems to go wrong with my computer or with our connection. So I am just moving on and posting some new pics. These are a few I have taken in the past few days. Although, I took a bunch on Christmas morning, but they have not been downloaded yet, and my camera battery is acting up, and... well enough excuses. I will try to post the Christmas pics soon, but enjoy some pics of Kai and Leila in the meantime. Hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year to everyone. I will toast you all tonight as I watch the ball drop (yeah right, I'll be asleep by 10!-but then up again to feed Leila, so maybe I will see the ball drop!)

Playing some air guitar
Taking a nap before bedtime
How alert she is after a bath!
"Leila, that's not nice! Don't stick your tongue out at the camera!" I guess she's doing her best Aunt Barbara impersonation!
Daddy with his girls
Casey wants to wear pink like Leila
"Daddy, let's go outside!"
Kai doing his best baby impersonation-and breaking the bouncy chair in the process!
Kai is such a big boy he can even do dishes now for Mommy and Daddy! And check out that bod!
"Thanks for my favorite present, Daddy. YEAH, A BOX!!!!!"
