Kai's 2nd Birthday!!!!!
Big boy had his 2nd birthday party recently. I have been bad about posting on the blog, because of all the stuff we have going on lately, so I have a ton of pics. Here are some from his birthday party. It was more like a BBQ with family, but mommy made certain to get an awesome cake with Kai's favorite character, Elmo.
And he loved having everyone sing him Happy Birthday, too. He wanted us to sing it again! And every once in a while he will remember and ask us to sing it to him!
"Is that present for me?"
"Oooooooooohhhhhhhh!!!"
"I don't know what it is, but I like it."
Kai's Nan and Poppy got him a bubble machine and as you can see he loved running through the bubbles!

Kai's younger cousin Noah isn't sure if he likes the bubbles...
...so Kai reassures him that everything will be OK.
Mi-mi and Pa got Kai this "cycle" to ride
Here he is pretending he doesn't know what the buttons do so he can talk to the pretty girls at the party.
And here he shows that he knew what the buttons did all along!!! That's my boy!
Here he is with his favorite girl in the whole world, Erin. He always talks about Liz's Erin, no matter how long it has been since he's seen her. I guess it is his first crush
Leila got dressed up for the occasion and had a great time with everyone too

Springtime fun!
Spring is here and the kids are enjoying our outside time, although it is more Mommy and Daddy who know enjoy taking them outside. Kai didn't care what the weather was, he always wants to go outside to play. Now at least Mommy and Daddy are comfortable out there with him.
Our new double stroller that we had to pick up to walk the two kids. As you can see, they are both pretty comfortable in this beast of a stroller.
"Why does my pillow keep squirming and moaning?"
Kai loves the digital camera, he can't wait to run over and see the picture we are taking of him. This is him running to see the picture, before we could even take it!
Wrestling already. Kai is always asking us to hold the baby, and roll around with her
Kai is wearing an old Buffalo Bills jersey. And when I say old, I mean it becuase it was mine when I was his age!
"Dad, I think she might be hungry because she is biting my stomach!"
Reading a book with mommy
Watching TV together, probably Elmo if I had to guess

Easter pics and many more!
Here are our pictures from Easter and a bunch I have taken over the past few weeks, including my spring break. Maybe that is why I had so many to put on the blog, because I got to spend a week with them before Easter.
The family went on a hayride to Bunnyland, where the Easter bunny came out to take a picture with the kids.
Kai was very excited to see the Easter bunny...until he came right up to him. Then he was a bit freaked out by a 6 foot tall rabbit!
Enjoying the hayride
"Ooooh, Easter candy!"

The girls hanging out on Easter morning

"Are we leaving soon, I've been sitting in this seat waiting for 20 minutes? And as you can see, I'm getting bigger by the second!" Leila is about 15lbs now and getting longer by the day!
We're not sure who she looks like, but Kai didn't seem to look like either of us and he turned out OK, so we don't mind!
This girl is all smiles!
She is also a GAP model already
"Oh yes, I can hold my head up already."
Mr. Cheerio-head! This is what Kai looks like after eating a bowl of cereal, and drinking the milk out of the bowl when he was finished!
Slam dunk champion

Casey protecting the baby
No wonder Leila can roll over already, Casey has been helping her!
Not surprising Kai and Casey are buddies, with the amount of food he gives her!
What a good little student he will make!
"Look at the camera you two!"
"Where's the baby's nose?"

Mischievous little look, isn't it!

These pics are from our recent trip to the Please Touch Museum. The name of the place describes it perfectly, the kids can touch and do everything. It's great, and Kai loved it.
One of the first things we did, and we had to pull him away. The kid loves water, so he loved playing in it. Good thing for the smocks, but he managed to get soaked anyway!
Playing the bongos, mon!
What a cute bus driver!
In this exhibit the kids get their own shopping cart and can go around and shop in what looks like a real supermarket. What a good boy, get your veggies in there!
Riding the...I'm not sure what he is riding. This was actually just a statue that I put him on, not really something he was supposed to be riding!
Soooo cute!!!
This little girl was pretending to milk the cow. A second later it let out a very loud moo and scared Kai so that he ran away.
This was like a car wash thing that Kai enjoyed running through... over and over again. This was probably his favorite thing at the Museum. He was laughing out loud while he was running through.
Oh yeah, and Leila had fun too!
