Just kidding obviously. We spend some time playing around with the computer special effects and took some goofy pictures that the kids loved.
We also took some regular ones just to show how cute the baby girl is getting!
"Anyone up for a jog?" Leila loves to put on our shoes, so here she is in mommy's running shoes. 
"OK, Casey, let's race!"

Oh yeah, and Kai got his first shiner and visit to the emergency room that week as well. He pulled a bookshelf down on top of himself in the coffee store with mommy and Leila. Good times for mommy as you can imagine.

Birthday party #2 that Kai had with his friends, which as you can see he was very happy about. He didn't mind being the center of attention and LOVED having "Happy Birthday" sung to him.
Kai's friend birthday party was outside at a local park, where it was about 98 degrees that day. Here is Leila sucking on some ice to cool off.

Kai wanted to ride the train, so I told him I would buy him a ticket, but that he would have to go on by himself (thinking inside this might deter his desire to ride the train, I guess). Here he is before the train started, second guessing the decision he made.

At the end he was soooooo proud of himself that he rode the train all by himself! And I'm not just saying that to make myself feel better!!!!!

...and a bit of a bruiser as well! I guess that is what a big brother will do to you. You can see the mark on her forehead, where she fell down a few concrete steps. That was fun!
