So it has really been a while since we have updated the blog. As you can probably imagine, it has been busy in the Schultz household with everyone going back to work, back to school and with the beginning of soccer season. Mommy and Daddy sure do miss Kai during the day, but he is enjoying his time with Mi-Mi during the week. He is changing every day it seems. Some days when we come home from work he looks like a different little boy!

If you have a minute, you have to watch the video below. It is so funny, Kai has never acted like that before. He is attacking his mommy, and acting older than he has ever acted. He sure loves his mommy. They cuddle all the time together, and look at each other... well, it makes daddy jealous!!! But they are very cute together.

And here is an old video, obviously. Has he changed much?

And now here are a bunch of pics we have taken this past month.
Having an in depth conversation with Mr. Green Giraffe.

And here he is...wait a second, how'd uncle Mike get in there? He must have hacked his way onto the blog. Familiar pose?

After a bath. Little bear loves his baths. He kicks away and plays with his rubber duckies! It's very cute, and it tires him out before bed!

It's tiring being so darn cute

Playing in the jungle

We hope everyone enjoys the pics. He really is changing so much. Mommy is getting nervous he will be a big boy soon and we will miss the little bear! We miss all of our friends and family we haven't seen in a while! Kai says hello and hopes to see you or meet you soon!!!

A day at the beach!

Mommy and Kai had a chance to take an end of the summer trip to the beach. It was Kai's first encounter with the sand and surf, and he sure enjoyed it, as much as a 2 month old can.

He really liked digging his hands into the wet sand

And when mommy let him stand in the ocean.

End of Summer ... Nooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

We have had a great summer with little Kai Bear, it is upsetting to see it winding down. Daddy is already back at school, and mommy will be going back in a week from now. Luckily, Mi-Mi (aka Grandma Patty) will be watching Kai during the day, and we are very thankful for that! As you see below, Kai and Casey have been getting along very well, even sharing pillows (boppy) with each other.

Here is Dad and Kai "hanging" out. Thanks for the baby bjorn Aunt Dianne and Uncle Rob!!!

"Hey what's up, man? That's cool, I'm just chillin' out!"

Lake Carey

Well, it feels like it has been a while since our last post...and I guess it has been! The family has been on vacation (please no teacher comments!!) up at Lake Carey, in northeast PA, doing a little R&R and hanging out with the DeCarlo's.

The sun was so strong up at Lake Carey, it turned daddy's hair blonde!!!

Casey enjoyed playing ball, and finding quiet, shady places to sleep.

Kai and mommy got to go for lots of walks, which Kai likes very much.

Mommy took Kai in the water for the first time at the Lake. He was sooooo excited, actually, a bit too excited, as you can see! "Where's the burp cloth, aka puke towel???"

Kai likes to stand, now, too... as long as he has someone to hold him up. It got cold at night, so we had to put some pants on the little boy as you can see...

... and bundle him up at night in his strait-jacket! He must have liked the weather, because he slept all night, from 11pm to 7am!!!

Spending time with his grandma, Nan

And cuddling with Aunt Debbie

While cousin Luke and Uncle Matt go swimming!!! Kai will have to wait a few years to hang out with them!

Casey and her buddies, Nick and Luke.
