Springtime fun!

Spring is here and the kids are enjoying our outside time, although it is more Mommy and Daddy who know enjoy taking them outside. Kai didn't care what the weather was, he always wants to go outside to play. Now at least Mommy and Daddy are comfortable out there with him.

Our new double stroller that we had to pick up to walk the two kids. As you can see, they are both pretty comfortable in this beast of a stroller.
"Why does my pillow keep squirming and moaning?"
Kai loves the digital camera, he can't wait to run over and see the picture we are taking of him. This is him running to see the picture, before we could even take it!
Wrestling already. Kai is always asking us to hold the baby, and roll around with her
Kai is wearing an old Buffalo Bills jersey. And when I say old, I mean it becuase it was mine when I was his age!
"Dad, I think she might be hungry because she is biting my stomach!"
Reading a book with mommy
Watching TV together, probably Elmo if I had to guess

Easter pics and many more!

Here are our pictures from Easter and a bunch I have taken over the past few weeks, including my spring break. Maybe that is why I had so many to put on the blog, because I got to spend a week with them before Easter.

The family went on a hayride to Bunnyland, where the Easter bunny came out to take a picture with the kids.
Kai was very excited to see the Easter bunny...until he came right up to him. Then he was a bit freaked out by a 6 foot tall rabbit!
Enjoying the hayride
"Ooooh, Easter candy!"

The girls hanging out on Easter morning

"Are we leaving soon, I've been sitting in this seat waiting for 20 minutes? And as you can see, I'm getting bigger by the second!" Leila is about 15lbs now and getting longer by the day!
We're not sure who she looks like, but Kai didn't seem to look like either of us and he turned out OK, so we don't mind!
This girl is all smiles!
She is also a GAP model already
"Oh yes, I can hold my head up already."
Mr. Cheerio-head! This is what Kai looks like after eating a bowl of cereal, and drinking the milk out of the bowl when he was finished!
Slam dunk champion

Casey protecting the baby
No wonder Leila can roll over already, Casey has been helping her!
Not surprising Kai and Casey are buddies, with the amount of food he gives her!
What a good little student he will make!
"Look at the camera you two!"
"Where's the baby's nose?"

Mischievous little look, isn't it!

These pics are from our recent trip to the Please Touch Museum. The name of the place describes it perfectly, the kids can touch and do everything. It's great, and Kai loved it.

One of the first things we did, and we had to pull him away. The kid loves water, so he loved playing in it. Good thing for the smocks, but he managed to get soaked anyway!
Playing the bongos, mon!
What a cute bus driver!
In this exhibit the kids get their own shopping cart and can go around and shop in what looks like a real supermarket. What a good boy, get your veggies in there!
Riding the...I'm not sure what he is riding. This was actually just a statue that I put him on, not really something he was supposed to be riding!
Soooo cute!!!
This little girl was pretending to milk the cow. A second later it let out a very loud moo and scared Kai so that he ran away.
This was like a car wash thing that Kai enjoyed running through... over and over again. This was probably his favorite thing at the Museum. He was laughing out loud while he was running through.
Oh yeah, and Leila had fun too!

1st Haircut!!!!!

Kai's hair was getting a little crazy so we took him to get his 1st haircut. He was such a good boy, just let the nice woman cut his hair. As you can see from the pictures, it wasn't exactly a barber shop, so that might have helped. He got to sit on some kind of animal and Thomas the Train was playing on the TV nearby. My guess is he would have been a good boy no matter what, though!

Leila wasn't all that excited about the haircut so she just took a little nap!

BFF's

These two are getting to be regular BFF's (best friends forever for those of you over the age of 40)! They love laying together, and Leila is beginning to smile when she sees Kai running around the house acting crazy, which is all day long! We have lots of good pics recently so I will post again soon. By the way, the snow is melting here so we can actually go outside which is a great treat for us. We were going stir crazy all cooped up!

"If you want to get to Leila, you have to go through me first."
Mohawk man in the bath
The family and our 7pm nightly ritual. Minus Casey of course, when she hears the bath start, she goes running and is nowhere to be found for the next half hour.
The three babies
Little angels aren't they? I wont tell you how after this Kai threw a temper tantrum and Leila cried for an hour! Just kidding, they really are unbelievable kids so far.
