Well, there is only so many pictures I can post of Leilani sleeping in her bassinet, but here are a couple more with her parents and grandpa. Today is Wednesday so she is coming home today, although we are still here in the hospital room. It has been a quick couple days, and two very long days at the same time, if you know what I mean. It feels like forever ago that she was born, but also like we just got to the hospital. I'm not sure how to explain it. Maybe I'm just losing my mind! Poor Kristina has barely been out of her room in 2 days so it will be good for her to get out and get some fresh air. It is cold here in Philly right now, so they said Leila shouldn't really be outside, so she will have to wait for an unseasonably warm day...or until March! Anyway, enjoy the pics, and more will follow, especially when we get home and she meets her brother Kai-who we miss terribly!!!!!
Looks like she is holding up the flag! What a little patriot!
That's what sleep deprived daddy looks like. I guess that is what I'll look like for the next, say 2 years!
This is from Tuesday, day two of Leila's life. Sleeping in mommy's arms, a place anyone could take a nice, long nap!
Proud grandpa Schultz. I saw an email from cousin Kendra that dad forwarded to me congratulating the grandparents and us, and it said congrats on the first Schultz girl being born. What a crazy thought that is, isn't it? I'm sure there must have been others, right? It would be interesting to look back at our family tree and take a look. But she sure is the first in a long time.
