Summer Fun - Lake Carey and Baseball games!

We went to Lake Carey last month and spent some time on the Lake with the DeCarlo family. The kids had a great time, swam a lot, threw lots of rocks into the lake and best of all, slept beautifully!!! Must have been the mountain air! Here are some pics of our week at the lake. At the end, there are also some pics of Kai's first baseball game! Grandpa took him to the Phillies game and while he didn't last the whole game, he did a great job and enjoyed it. Maybe not as much as grandpa, but we expected that! Enjoy

Kai swimming with Nan and Leila swimming with mommy in the background. After the first couple tentative days, the kids jumped right in and loved swimming in the lake.

Did I startle you, Leila???
"Yeah, BREAKFAST!!!!
This was our morning routine at the lake - Play Dough with cousin Luke!

Look at those piercing dark eyes! So pretty!!!!!
Hiding in the bushes
Casey pretending to be Kai, or was it the other way around?

None of those rocks you see in the lake behind Kai were there before we got there - Kai threw all of them in!

Adrienne bought Kai a balloon with his favorite face on it! And you can see how excited he is about it!

Here are some pics of Kai's first Phillies game. Here he is with Grandpa's hat on. Oh yeah, it's a little blurry because someone smudged the lens of the camera. I'm not going to name names, but he is under 3 years old!
Sitting on Daddy' lap. Kai had his own seat for some of the game, which he stood on mostly. The rest of the time he sat with Daddy, which of course he didn't mind (neither did Daddy!)
Daddy and Kai next to the Michael Jack Schmidt statue in front of the ballpark
Kai and his souvenir that Grandpa bought him, a Phillies teddy bear - which by the way he slept with that night!
Kai and Grandpa. The planes were flying by real low past the ballpark so he enjoyed watching them which is what he is pointing to in the picture. He definitely had fun, and so did we. Thanks Pa!!!!!
