Aquarium and Halloween 2012

 Halloween at school: Surprisingly Leila was a princess...

 ...and Kai shocked us and wanted to be a dinosaur!!!

 We also got displaced for a night by Hurricane Sandy.  Luckily, being displaced for us simply means going to Mimi and Pa's house!  Leila and Kai got to sleep together in bed which they thoroughly enjoyed by staying up for an extra couple hours, talking, yelling laughing, telling jokes, jumping on the bed, you name it!  Here they are after they FINALLY passed out from exhaustion!

Bye Bye Summer 2012

We were so lucky to get to spend almost two whole weeks at the beach this summer, here is a little pictorial recap of our vacation.

Lake Carey - July 2012

We spent a week vacation at Lake Carey and took lots of good pics.  Hope you enjoy seeing them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
Kai loved the lake and was a total water bug the whole time.  He was going nuts jumping off the dock!

 Leila loves olives.  And just like her mommy used to do when she was a kid, she puts them on all her fingers and then eats them off

 We went to a little zoo that was close to the lake. And the kids got to feed a giraffe a carrot

 And Kai went fishing all on his own and caught lots of fish! He even kissed the first one he caught because Daddy told him it was tradition!  But afterwards in the bath he asked me to wash off his lips!
